Meskipun jamu bisa digunakan untuk media pengobatan, akan tetapi tradisi ini lebih kepada menjaga kesehatan, mencegah sakit dengan menerapkan hidup sehat. Banyak ragam tanaman herbal yang bisa ditemukan di Indonesia, setiap wilayah memiliki khas jamu masing-masing.

mampu menjaga tubuh manusia dari ujung kepala sampai ujung kaki, baik organ
dalam yang vital sampai bagian kulit terluar. Ada banyak jenis jamu yang
terkenal di masyarakat Indonesia adalah jamu yang mengatasi masalah lelaki dan
wanita atau pasutri.
Selain itu, jamu yang dapat menghangatkan tubuh kita, memperkuat jaringan sendi dan menaikkan stamina serta menjaga ketahanan tubuh saat bekerja. dasar jamu yang sering digunakan adalah, kencur, jahe, kunyit, lengkuas,
